Return and warranty policy

Return and warranty policy

This policy explains Ortelvia's standard quality warranty, return conditions, inspection expectations, and claim process for electronic component orders.

Standard return condition

Ortelvia supports return or replacement within 30 days when the material has not been mounted, soldered, programmed, altered, or used, and when the original appearance, labels, packaging, and quantity remain suitable for inspection. Any exception must be confirmed in writing before the order is released.

30-day quality window

The standard warranty period is 30 days from delivery unless a different written term is confirmed on the quote, pro forma invoice, or sales agreement.

Unused material only

Return or replacement requires unused components with no board mounting, solder marks, programming, appearance damage, mixed lots, or altered packaging.

Inspection-based resolution

Ortelvia reviews photos, labels, packaging condition, batch details, and any test evidence before approving replacement, refund, credit, or return shipment.

Claim handling

Quality claims must keep traceability intact

Electronic component claims depend on stable handling evidence. Please pause use of the material and contact Ortelvia before further processing the lot.

Before shipment

  • Stock photos, label photos, package condition, date code, and other visible details can be requested before payment or shipment.
  • Original factory packaging and visible marking checks are used as the baseline inspection scope unless extra testing is agreed.
  • Third-party testing or special verification can be arranged before release when the buyer requires documented inspection.

When an issue appears

  • Notify Ortelvia within the warranty window with order reference, MPN, quantity affected, photos, and a clear description of the issue.
  • Do not solder, mount, program, mix, relabel, or continue using the affected lot after the issue is found.
  • Keep original labels, reels, tubes, trays, moisture bags, boxes, and shipping packaging until the claim is closed.

Resolution options

  • Approved claims may be resolved through replacement, refund, account credit, or another written commercial agreement.
  • Return freight responsibility depends on claim cause, inspection result, Incoterms, and the written order terms.
  • Damage caused by misuse, ESD handling failure, soldering, rework, customer storage, or appearance damage after delivery is not covered.
